Making a difference in the lives of family around the world... and here at home.
To make a difference not only in the lives of women in Peru, we are also partnering with Haven House for this project. With the sales of this delicious Peruvian coffee a portion of the proceeds will go to Haven House in Tennessee.
Haven House's mission is to save and change lives through the intervention and prevention of domestic violence by offering 24 hour shelter and crisis hotline, support services, youth programs and community awareness.

This month we are featuring our Fair Trade and Organic Certified Cafe Femenino Coffee from Peru.
Café Femenino works to break-down cultural barriers that have prevented women from participating in the coffee economy by providing the women control of income, access to land ownership, and recognition for their exceptional coffee. The Cafe Femenino Program has provided a necessary structure for the women’s association to access resources to fund social projects and activities to their communities. In Peru through the years, these activities have included children’s libraries, schools, health and nutritional education, and capacity building in self-esteem, human rights awareness, and literacy.

“Now with our own brand, 'Café Femenino,’ we are able to decide how our incomes will be spent and which of our children will go to school. Our opinions are listened to and taken seriously.”
