Bringing a fresh rotation of featured coffees
Every month, our Roastery hand picks one of our wonderful single origin coffees to feature, while we rotate our flavored options every few months. Our featured single origin is available year-round. We just believe they each deserve their time in the limelight because the story behind the product runs deeper than just a great cup of coffee. On the other hand, the flavored coffees are only seasonal. Once they’ve served their time, you won’t see them again until next year. You can learn more about Vienna’s seasonal coffee schedule here.
Featured Single Origin Coffee:
For the month of April, we shine the spotlight on our Organic Papua New Guinea, which is known as the 17th largest coffee-producing nation. This relationship coffee immensely helps the community from which it originates. Contributions include, but are not limited to, funding for children’s textbooks and education, employing 30% of the population, and organizing integrated villages for the workers to obtain services and housing. In this instance, as cliche as it sounds, coffee really does make the world go around for a multitude of people.
This organic coffee is purchased from smallholders in the Henganofi District of the Eastern Highlands who pulp, wash, and dry their green coffees with great pride and attention to detail. Once purchased, dry milling is finished on the Kindeng Estate. This process then brings the green coffee beans to our Roastery’s doorstep where it is roasted and bagged. The finalized product creates a delicious cup of coffee that beams with tastings notes of cocoa, walnut, and brown sugar.
Seasonal Flavored Coffees:
For our coffee drinkers with a palate for dessert notes, we have your flavor fix. Each flavored coffee begins with high-grade Brazilian coffee grown in the Cerrado region mountains of Minas Gerais, the largest Brazilian coffee-producing state. We roast this delicious, natural-processed coffee to maximize its natural flavors and bring out the smooth body, sweetness, and mildly acidic attributes credited to great Brazilian coffees.
We tumble this rich coffee base with our own specialty flavors that alternate seasonally. From April to July, you can relish in the cinnamon and hazelnut notes of the Cinnamon Sugar Cookie or you can savor the chocolate, caramel, and macadamia nut flavors of the Turtle Mac. Whichever you choose, just remember our flavored offerings are only available for a LIMITED TIME. Stock up on them before they’re gone!
