Starting last Sunday March, 7, 2021, wildfires ignited and spread rapidly in the forest reserves above the farm of our close friends and partners at San Jerónimo Miramar in Guatemala. The farmers, neighbors, volunteer firefighters and Guatemalan government are doing all they can to help contain the spread, but additional resources are needed. Finca San Jeronimo Miramar (FSJM) are committed stewards to their land and it’s biodiversity and thus these forests are an ecological jewel and need protected. Likewise the farm, coffee, pastures and families who call it home are not out of harm’s way. Please consider helping the efforts in a small way.
