Vienna Coffee Company hit the road this month for Baltimore, MD, to attend Coffeefest, a specialty coffee trade show designed to help coffee professionals discover new customers and network with others in the industry. Attendees also have the opportunity to attend classes and seminars to sharpen their roasting, business, or customer service skills—but the real fun of the show comes in the afternoon when exhibitors open up their booths.
We did our part in keeping the Baltimore Convention Center well-caffeinated, pulling shots of two espresso blends and brewing pour overs for those a little less ambitious. And, of course, we did a little sampling ourselves to see what new products other companies had to offer.
Though our espresso was certainly a hit, Coffeefest saw the formal debut of our Foothills Series of coffees—a new line of products we designed to make adventurous coffees accessible. We are excited to get these coffees in your cup, so make sure you stop in one of our cafes to buy a bag or two, or even order a pour over to drink on the spot!
All in all, we chalk up our time at Coffeefest as a success, and we can't wait for our next opportunity to break out the booth and serve up the coffee you know and love.
