Since 2012 this market has intentionally partnered with artisans in developing countries to enable each artist to become self-sustaining by ensuring each one receives a fair price for their craftsmanship. The market strives to build personal relationships with its artisan partners through hand-in-hand involvement.

The first Beautifully Made market opened in December 2012, and established itself as an annual Christmas tradition for many local families. The market’s growing popularity is responsible for over $300,000 in sales to support its mission. The market now partners with other organizations to provide a wide assortment of fair-trade products in addition to its popular custom-made metal products. Each item is hand-selected for your unique shopping experience.

Beautifully Made is now a member of the Fair Trade Federation (FTF). This membership allows Beautifully Made to sell its steel drum products to other Fair Trade stores across the United States.
The Fair Trade Federation is recognized worldwide for its efforts to pay artisans fairly and ensure the rights of children are respected. The artisans who partner with FTF have a brighter more sustainable future and the work provides them with self-respect, confidence, and empowerment for their lives.
These efforts prevent the artisans from being locked in the cycle of poverty often surrounding their communities.
