You’ve likely noticed many vibrant forms of art decorating the walls of the Vienna Coffee House on your recent visit. These original pieces are a part of our most recent Arts of Vienna exhibit that celebrates the beauty of the spring season.
The Birds & Blooms exhibit consists of a variety mediums from paint, mixed media, to photography. Each piece features the artist’s twist on bright, bold, and colorful imagery. There is certainly something for every eye to enjoy.
Birds & Blooms Exhibit and Competition
runs from March 30 to June 22, 2024
Our art curator’s commitment to each exhibit is immeasurable. An artist herself, Deede Edele’s contribution ranges from creating themes that inspire our artist to coordinating the organization of the entire exhibit. Every so often, Deede likes to hold a recognition ceremony for the artists and highlight the winners from each category. While there is not a competition for every exhibit, our spring one has been the deemed one of the special occasions.
Each piece includes the artist’s name, medium, contact info, and price. If you find a piece that interests you and you would like to purchase, please contact the artist directly.
For the first time, the Vienna Coffee Company staff acted as show judges and voted for their exhibit favorites in two categories: painting/mixed medium and photography. Usually special guest judges are invited or the artists vote amongst themselves. Here are the winners from our Spring Exhibit:
SELECTION OF ART WORK FROM BIRDS & BLOOMS EXHIBIT
At Vienna Coffee Company…
We remain committed to our mission to provide craft coffee that enriches the lives of customer and producers alike by providing an experience grounded in excellence and hospitality. Part of this mission encompasses a vision to remain committed to community involvement that embraces/celebrates the distinctiveness of the locales where we operate.
Our Arts of Vienna program is one way that we celebrate the enormously talented people living in the community surrounding our home-base/hometown of Maryville, Tennessee. We are humbled and thankful that they lend the fruits of their talent to dress up the walls of the Coffee House.
If you are interested in more details on the Arts of Vienna Program, or interested in becoming one of our contributing artists, please contact our Arts of Vienna Coordinator, Deede Edele, at blackbearmountainarts@gmail.com.
In addition to our fine art exhibits, please explore our complete line of coffees online or stop by the Coffee House and let our baristas do the brewing for you. We hope that exploring what we offer (whether its organic, single-origin, a VCC custom blend or your favorite flavored coffee) continues your journey in discovering that “Great Coffee is an Adventure”.
